![]() ![]() It definitely fits your description of lighthearted comedy, and has incredibly realistic conversations on a wide variety of topics, so I think it's also very educational. It's a sort of mockumentary about two girls interviewing people about their various obsessions or fixations with random silly things. The reason I mention all that, is that I've been watching the currently airing "Sono Okodawari, Watashi ni mo Kure yo!!" (その「おこだわり」、私にもくれよ!!) and it immediately reminded me of Nihonjin no Shiranai Nihongo, except it's actually funny. I suppose it didn't help that I already knew all the jokes, but there was just something cringey about all the foreign actors I couldn't stomach. I found the books both funny and educational, but honestly thought the drama was pretty awful. Nihonjin no Shiranai Nihongo was based on a series of comic-essay books, which I had actually read before the drama adaptation. ![]()
